LPPS CNP administrators understand proper nutrition is essential in the educational process. Students cannot reach their full potential on an empty stomach, so school meals are a vital resource in student success. At Livingston Parish Public Schools we are Feeding Bodies and Fueling Minds.

At LPPS, school meals emphasize the importance of healthy eating habits and incorporating fresh fruits and vegetables into your diet. All l meals are prepared and served with the highest quality products available and are consistent with state and federal regulations.

LPPS Child Nutrition Program (CNP) provides over 30,000 healthy school breakfast and school lunch meals each school day. In addition, to school breakfast and school lunch, schools providing after-school programs and/or enrichment have the option to participate in the CACFP At-Risk Supper Program. This program provides a substantial snack for students during the extended school day for a variety of after school activities.
